Merlin Performance Tuning ("we", "us") is a vehicle tuning and diagnostics business based at 280B Bellingdon Road, Chesham, Buckinghamshire HP5 2NN. This notice explains how we handle personal information you send us.
When you contact us by our quote form, phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email, we collect the details you provide: typically your name, contact number, email address, postcode, vehicle registration and a description of the work you're interested in.
We use these details only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange and carry out work on your vehicle, and keep records of work completed. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business. We do not sell your details or use them for third-party marketing.
Form submissions are processed by our website hosting provider. Where work requires it, vehicle details (such as registration or ECU data) may be shared with our tuning file provider to prepare your file. We do not share your personal details with anyone else unless required by law.
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Records of completed work are kept for up to six years for warranty, guarantee and accounting purposes.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it is used.
